Becoming Simple

July 14, 2017

Simplicity takes a lot of work. Often times there is much chaos in my life: lots of things to do, too many places to go, and deadlines to meet.  I'm seeking to move from a place of chaos to one of simplicity.  Anyone want to go on that journey with me?  One of the things that I've been thinking about is to begin musing over my real purpose and focusing activities just on those that fit my core purpose.  Am I leading others out of my core purpose?  Am I saving money for my core purpose?  Am I spending money on areas that fit my core purpose?

So maybe you're at that point where you're trying to get less clutter.  Maybe you need to whittle down to just a few financial accounts that you manage into one or two?  Maybe you need to go through your calendar and eliminate activities that really don't fit your purpose? Maybe you need to spend some time combing through what your purpose truly is?  We have some book resources that we use with our staff that may be of help to you.  One book resource I would recommend is Start with Why by Simon Sinek.  It's a must read!

Be purposeful today with your money, time and family relationships.   Till next time...
