In our line of work, it is exciting to see people plan for their future by being purposeful with their finances. Most of what we see in our office is investing for the purpose of planning for retirement. This is a great start, and it can go further.
There is an extra spark of joy when people begin planning for the next generation, with college savings, for example. These people are planning for something beyond themselves. I like to think of it as an investment into our future community leaders and advocates for what is to come.
